Meet The Dentists

Brett K. Christensen, DMD

Dr. Christensen grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1995 and was accepted to Dental School in 1997. Dr. Christensen graduated from Louisville School of Dentistry in 2001 and practiced as a general dentist in Twin Falls, Idaho from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, Dr. Christensen was accepted into the pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. While training at the Primary Children’s Medical Center, Dr. Christensen experienced every facet of Pediatric Dentistry. He and his family have lived in Southern Utah for more than 10 years.</p>

Tyler Torres, DDS

Dr. Torres was born and raised in St. George and is excited to have the opportunity to be back home. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Utah University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2011. While at Baylor he was inducted into the Odontological Honors Society as well as the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. He continued on to complete a two-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Torres received excellent training at numerous clinics and hospitals including Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He had the privilege of working with many wonderful patients, and received comprehensive training with special health care needs children.

Dr. Torres serves on the Health Advisory Committee for The Learning Center for Families. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He scored in the top 3% in the nation of candidates on the qualifying board examination and is a board-certified member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

We love both Dr Christensen and Dr Torres. They are fantastic dentists and are so good at what they do. Very patient and caring. The staff is also amazing! Every person I’ve encountered was so friendly and patient. Very efficient as well. All around just such a great office and I couldn’t recommend this place more!
